Conjunctural Insurrections – “Aboriginal and Black Lives Matter”

This edited audio piece is from the Sydney, Australia Aboriginal and Black Lives Matter protest. I recorded and edited this short clip as a scholar/activist radio maker, and in solidarity with the protesters. I’m a Board Member of Radio SkidRow, a community radio station in Sydney with a long and strong history of social justice broadcasting. Radio SkidRow uses the medium of radio to organise the communities the station represents: http://radioskidrow.org/about

The audio captures the politics of Aboriginal injustice in Australia within the wider BLM movement. The New South Wales State Library acquired the full collection of audio recordings for their permanent collection.
